We are excited to announce this year’s Virginia Women’s Conference will be held at The Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center on Saturday, November 23rd! This conference is dedicated to providing a venue for Virginia women of all ages to meet, network, hear from experts on a variety of important topics, and gather resources from federal, state, and local agencies. Stay tuned to our social media for an exciting Keynote announcement!
This event is free to all participants but registration is required as space is limited! And this year, we are asking attendees to participate in our Thanksgiving Food Drive. Please bring some of the following items as your admission to the conference to help Virginians in need. These items will be delivered to Feeding Southwest Virginia for distribution.

ANNOUNCING OUR KEYNOTE
Angie Kim, New York Times bestselling author, Edgar Award winner, and recipient of the 2024 Virginia Literary Award for Fiction for her most recent novel, Happiness Falls

EXTRA PERKS
- Resume Consultations: A team of Virginia Tech human resources professionals will offer 10-minute resume reviews at its resource table, on walk-up basis, during designated networking breaks. Staff will be present throughout scheduled programming to assist with resume reviews during the conference, as well. Attendees should bring printed copies of their resume for review. Conference attendees may also drop off their resume for review following the event, with guaranteed response for the first 50 drop offs.
- Women’s Wellness Center presented by Carilion Clinic and Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield: Medical professionals will be on hand to administer flu shots or provide biometric screening and in-body assessments on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Lactation Room: Available for attendee use throughout the day.

- Individuals needing assistance: Individuals with disabilities who require an auxiliary aid or service should email events@warner.senate.gov no later than Monday, November 18, 2024.
