Earlier this week, I joined Senator Kaine and 40 colleagues from both parties in raising serious concerns about the implementation of the Veterans Choice Card program, which was created as part of the VA reform legislation Congress passed last year.

A group of Virginia tech companies is going to help the Department of Veterans Affairs hospital system fix its scheduling system. The Northern Virginia Technology Council will offer free help to the VA by examining the troubled health care system's scheduling system and suggesting improvements.
On Tuesday, Senator Mark Warner met with leadership at the McGuire VA Medical Center to talk about ongoing issues involving healthcare for veterans.

Sen. Warner, on Thursday urged President Barack Obama to allow a group of Northern Virginia technology firms to assist the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in fixing its patient-appointment system.
