Senator Warner Discusses Need to Strengthen TWIC Card Security at a Senate Commerce Committee Hearing
A bipartisan bill sponsored by Sens. Mark Warner, D-Va., and Rob Portman, R-Ohio, unanimously passed the Senate on Thursday. The Digital Accountability and Transparency Act (DATA) would call for all money spent by federal agencies to be traceable on a common website.

"If we think about 30 years ago, Silicon Valley in northern California kind of carved out their brand — they were the information technology capital of the world," Warner said. "Composites has the potential in all its applications to be a huge industry. We'd like to make Hampton Roads the Silicon Valley of composites."
