Statement on the passing of Josh Darden

Jan 23 2014

Josh Darden was a Virginia institution. He was a leader at UVA, a leader in business and charitable endeavors, and was known and respected across the Commonwealth. He and Betty have been my friends for more than 20 years. Josh was particular helpful to me as governor, when he helped me reinstate a non-partisan merit-based process for selecting our college and university boards. Lisa and I are keeping Betty and their family in our thoughts and prayers.
