"Supporters and opponents of Keystone XL have at times overstated their claims, and I voted to move forward on Keystone XL because it  is in America’s  economic and national energy security interests.  After more than six years of study and weeks of Senate debate on this legislation, the Senate has done the right thing and approved the project. Now we should focus on the work of strengthening the economy and expanding opportunity for all Americans."
