Passport Day

The Office of Sen. Mark R. Warner is hosting a Passport Acceptance Fair in Annandale on Wednesday, June 26!

Here’s the deal: last year, Virginians were facing terrible passport delays. Simple applications and renewals were taking two or three times as long as they should, jeopardizing folks’ ability to take their hard-earned vacations or go see family. Sen. Warner pushed directly on the State Department to make changes to address these delays, and following his advocacy, we saw processing times go way down!

This was great news for getting Virginians where they need to go, and now, our office wants to make sure everyone can get their passport applications done while we continue to enjoy these processing times. We're hosting an event at Northern Virginia Community College from 10 a.m.-2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 26 to help Virginians apply in one convenient location! Agency employees will be on site to help you submit your application for a new or renewed passport. The event is free to attend – though you will have to pay the normal processing fees – and you can expect to receive your passport in 6-8 weeks… or in 2-3 weeks if you choose to expedite it!

UPDATE: ALL PASSPORT DAY APPOINTMENTS AND WAITLIST SPOTS HAVE BEEN TAKEN!

Unfortunately, we will not be able to take walk-ins at this event, but we will continue to communicate about future Passport Days as information becomes available.
