Senator Warner met with a group of 20 nurse anesthetists who came from all across Virginia for their annual Capitol Hill visit.

The Senators thanked the nurses for their tireless efforts to provide access to high quality care all around the Commonwealth, including in rural and medically underserved areas.

“The work you all do is so vital to the well-being of Virginia. I’m so glad you joined us today so I could thank you in person and let you know that I am fully committed to supporting all nurses around the Commonwealth” Senator Warner said.

Senator Warner and the group of nurses discussed the importance of supporting nursing education programs like Title 8 and finding a permanent solution to the current Medicare payment system.
