Affordable Connectivity Fund ($14.2B)
- Description: This new long-term program will replace the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program, which was a temporary program created in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and funded by an appropriation of $3.2 billion. The law appropriates an additional $14.2 billion for the ACP, to remain available until expended. Households enrolled in the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program as of December 31, 2021, will continue to receive their current monthly benefit until March 1, 2022.
