Senators Warner and Chambliss visited Atlanta on Monday to speak about the effort to reduce the deficit and debt. Both Senators met with the editorial board of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and then held a town hall meeting with the 500 members of the Atlanta Rotary Club.

The Senators updated local business leaders on their bipartisan “Gang of Six” efforts: "Everybody's going to have some skin in the game," Senator Warner said. “If we can start this with a bipartisan plan, it increases the chance of success.”

Senator Chambliss added that the Gang of Six is “getting close to an agreement” and intend to announce a plan within the next 30 days.
