W&M Puller Clinic Students Visit Sen. Warner
Sep 25 2013
Today, Senator Mark Warner welcomed students from The William & Mary Puller Law Clinic to his senate office. He praised the law students for volunteering their time to help veterans across Virginia get their disability claims processed by the Veteran’s Administration (V-A).
In response to a question from a law student, Sen. Warner noted, “We worked with the Puller Clinic for two and half years to have the clinic designated as an official partner of the V-A in processing claims. Now, we’ve seen progress and we’ve lit a fire under them so I’m cautiously optimistic.”
Senator Warner enlisted the Puller Clinic to help him take their model nationwide. “I am really proud that Virginia law schools are taking the lead on this very important issue.”
