60th Presidential Inauguration
The 60th Presidential Inauguration will take place at the United States Capitol Building on January 20, 2025. The Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies (JCCIC) plans and executes all Inaugural activities at the United States Capitol, including the Inaugural swearing-in ceremony of the President and Vice President of the United States and the traditional Inaugural luncheon that follows. Please visit the JCCIC webpage to learn more about the history of the Inaugural Ceremonies.
Requests for Tickets to the Inauguration Ceremony
Thank you for your interest in the 60th Presidential Inaugural Ceremony. Requests for Inaugural tickets are no longer being accepted through the Office of Senator Mark R. Warner. Non-ticketed viewing areas on the National Mall west of 4th Street NW will also be open to the public.
In an effort to afford the greatest number of Virginians an opportunity to participate in the Inauguration, a random lottery will be held in the coming weeks. Submissions to the lottery closed on Thursday, December 12, 2024. Please know that interest in Inaugural tickets far outweighed the number of tickets allotted to each Senate office. However, all Virginians who entered the ticket lottery will be notified with the results in the coming weeks.
