REMARKS:
Senator Mark R. Warner
Senator Warner was elected to the U.S. Senate in November 2008 and reelected to a second term in November 2014. He serves on the Senate Finance, Banking, Budget, and Intelligence committees. During his time in the Senate, Senator Warner has established himself as a bipartisan leader who has worked with Republicans and Democrats alike to cut red tape, increase government performance and accountability, and promote private sector innovation and job creation. Senator Warner has been recognized as a national leader in fighting for our military men and women and veterans, and in working to find bipartisan, balanced solutions to address our country's debt and deficit.

Kathy Korman Frey, Founder and CEO, The Hot Mommas® Project
Kathy is founder and “CHM” (Chief Hot Momma) of The Hot Mommas® Project, an award-winning social venture that pairs the world’s largest digital case study library of female role models with cutting-edge teaching tools. She is a regular speaker on the topics of women’s confidence, leadership, mentorship, and work-life balance and teaches Women’s Entrepreneurial Leadership at the George Washington University School of Business; the course is the winner of a National Excellence in Entrepreneurship Education Award.
Kathy earned her MBA from Harvard Business School and her B.A. in English from the University of Virginia where she received the Seven Society’s James Earle Sargeant award for community service. She is a former Alzheimer’s Association board member and currently serves on the advisory boards of United Women in Business, Mixology, and 30 Second Mom, as well as the board of United Women in Business and The Closet. She was a 2010 Washington Business Journal Women Who Means Business Awardee, the DC National Association of Women Business Owner’s 2011 Woman of Distinction, and was recently named one of the 2015 "Influential Women of Virginia” by Virginia Lawyers Weekly.
She lives in the Washington DC area with her husband, two children, and two dogs in a state of semi-controlled chaos.
KEYNOTE:
Rynthia Rost, Vice President of Public Affairs, GEICO
Rynthia Rost is responsible for GEICO’s national community affairs, public relations, and cause marketing initiatives. She also works on the company’s diversity efforts and spearheaded the GEICO Corporate Community Citizens volunteer program.
Rynthia is deeply involved with a number of notable business organizations including the Greater Washington Board of Trade, the Economic Club of Washington, D.C., and the Federal City Council. She is also a director of the National Urban League and a member of several Urban League affiliates. Previously, Rynthia served as assistant general counsel for National Public Radio. Throughout her extensive legal career, she worked with a number of organizations, including the Federal Equal Opportunity Commission, Montgomery County State’s Attorney’s Office, and the Legal Services Corporation. She is a member of the D.C., Maryland, Indiana and Virginia State Bar associations as well as the Minority Corporate Lawyers Association and the Association of Corporate Lawyers of America. Rynthia has received numerous professional and personal awards, including the Indiana University Distinguished Service Award, the International Dialogue on Diversity Mentorship Award, the Mentors Inc. Community Partner Award, and the Boys and Girls Clubs of America’s National Service to Youth Award, and was recognized as a “Jewish Woman to Watch” by Jewish Women International. She graduated from Fisk University and Indiana University School of Law.
