A combined 1,200 military personnel and veterans attended two job fairs our office co-hosted in the past week with military.com. About 500 people attended the Job Expo in Norfolk last Thursday, and more than 700 people attended yesterday’s job fair in Woodbridge.

Representatives from our Richmond and Norfolk offices also were available to provide constituent services to attendees at both expos. Our folks spoke with many veterans as well as active duty military men and women about their concerns.

Since the beginning of March, Senator Warner has co-hosted a combined four job fairs, including the Fairfax Mega Job Fair and the Newport News military.com Job Expo, which was attended by more than 400 people. A fifth, the Charlottesville Community Job Fair, is coming up on Wednesday, April 27th.
