Senator Warner helped cut the ribbon on defense contractor Northrop Grumman’s new Fairfax headquarters.

After a countrywide search, Northrop Grumman, a Fortune 100 company, relocated its corporate headquarters to Virginia from California, bringing with it 500 jobs for the Commonwealth. Senator Warner, Governor Bob McDonnell, and Congressmen Gerry Connolly and Jim Moran spoke at the ceremony on Friday.
“When it comes to bringing quality jobs to Virginia, it’s “all hands on deck” whether you serve at the local, state or federal levels, and whether you have a ‘D’ or an ‘R’ next to your name,” Senator Warner said.
“If you think of moving a large corporation like Northrop Grumman you have to have confidence,” Northrop Grumman CEO Wes Bush said. “I couldn’t have asked for anything more.”
