Senator Warner was back out on the road Friday, with stops in Hopewell, Petersburg, and Richmond.

Senator Warner signed on to legislation today that would honor the life and service of Dorothy Height, a civil rights pioneer who passed away today at the age of 98.

The U.S. Senate unanimously confirmed the nomination of Virginia Supreme Court Justice Barbara Keenan to the Richmond-based Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. With her confirmation, Justice Keenan will be the first female judge from Virginia to serve on the federal appeals court.

After traveling to Fort Belvoir, Culpeper and Frederickburg on Thursday, Senator Warner spent Friday morning in the Northern Neck and on the Eastern Shore, visiting with business and community leaders in Westmoreland and Essex Counties.
