Senator Warner visited Our Health in Winchester today, a campus-like setting that combines 10 public health, social service and non-profit agencies at one location. The shared location allows for closer coordination and administrative savings for the organizations.
The Senate will act on legislation to help small businesses as soon as they return from the August recess, and the challenges facing Central Virginia's small business owners were front and center as Senator Warner met with about 25 business owners today at Inklings Bookshop in Lynchburg.
Senator Warner met with members of the Chesterfield County Chamber of Commerce this morning and talked about the economy and the need for a tax structure and policy choices that encourage economic development, job creation and greater innovation and global competitiveness.

Virginia has been awarded more than $26 million for three projects that will expand broadband access in rural areas. These projects will create at least 200 jobs in the near term, and build-out a high-speed Internet platform for additional economic activity in the future.
