Senator Warner held his first Commonwealth Coffee of 2014, cohosted by Senator Tim Kaine. The coffees allow Virginia constituents to meet with the senators and speak with legislative staff in an informal setting.

“This is a great way to welcome Virginians to the U.S. Capitol and hear their concerns,” Sen. Warner said. “It’s one more way we work aggressively to be accessible so we can share ideas with constituents and help solve any issues they’re having navigating the federal bureaucracy.”

Last year, more than 700 Virginians participated in seven of our Commonwealth Coffees. In addition, we responded to almost 315,000 emails and letters from Virginians last year, and Senator Warner heard from people across Virginia at more than 125 public events, including 60 roundtable discussions and town hall meetings.
