This Saturday, Senator Warner joined almost 200 families to deliver presents to military children at the Peninsula Town Center in Hampton, Virginia. The toy drive, Toys for Military Kids, was hosted by Operation Homefront, a Virginia-based veteran's non-profit that provides emergency financial assistance to families of our service members and wounded warriors. Throughout the day, over 800 children participated in the event and received toys that had been donated to the organization.

'Toys for Military Kids' brought in military families all throughout the region. The kids choose stocking stuffers, pick wrapped presents to open on Christmas day, and had the chance to meet Santa. Many of the kids commented that Santa's famous cookies were their favorite part of the holiday event.

"Our military families serve and sacrifice for our country too," Senator Warner said at the event. "Thank you Operation Homefront for all that you do to provide support for service members and their families."
