Today, Senator Mark Warner spoke with House and Senate staffers who are members of the Congressional Hispanic Staff Association (CHSA). Sen. Warner was featured as part of their “Trailblazer Roundtable” series, designed to offer CHSA members the unique opportunity to have a dialogue with policy and political leaders who demonstrate outstanding leadership and an unwavering commitment to public service.

Senator Warner talked about his journey from Senate intern as a freshman in college to businessman to now being a US Senator. Senator Warner emphasized that a range of experiences is essential to strong policy-making.

"I am glad to see groups like yours promoting diversity in public service and especially here on Capitol Hill,” said Sen. Warner. “Ustedes son la nueva cara de los Estados Unidos.”
