Starting a conversation on health care
Jul 14 2009
Senator Warner launched a month-long conversation with Virginians today about the health reform effort that is underway here in Washington.
Many people have questions or concerns about how we can fix our nation's health care system. Throughout July, Senator Warner will use multiple platforms -- from the telephone, to the computer, and even on Twitter-- to reach out to Virginians from all over the Commonwealth to hear their thoughts and concerns.
Tonight he hosted a telephone "town hall" with more than 4,300 people across southwest and southside Virginia.
"There's a lot of misinformation out there," Senator Warner said on the call, "so hopefully we can clear some things up and I can hear some of your concerns."
Check back tomorrow for some highlights from the town hall.
The conversation continues throughout the month. For more information about how you can submit your questions to Senator Warner, click here:
