On the second day of his 1,000 mile statewide Virginia trip, Sen. Warner grabbed a ham biscuit and chatted with Shelly and Bill in the studio of Richmond's Lite 98.

He also dropped by WRVA to talk to Jimmy Barrett about the negative effects of sequestration on Virginia's economy.

Afterward Senator Warner toured Hardywood Park Craft Brewery and hosted a roundtable business discussion with Central Virginia craft brewers to discuss the thriving industry.

"Last year, I got to visit Roanoke Railhouse Brewery and its so great for Virginia to see how far craft beer has come in just a few years," Sen. Warner told the brewers.

Senator Warner also noted, "Craft beer is ultimately bipartisan, cause you guys'll serve anyone."

Sen. Warner also announced his support for the Small Brewer Reinvestment and Expanding Workforce Act (Small BREW Act), which will provide some tax relief for local small breweries. This past year, Viriginia has seen a 30% increase in craft breweries statewide. A 2013 study by the National Beer Wholesalers Association and the Beer Institute showed that the beer industry as a whole generates nearly 52,000 jobs in Virginia and $2.2 billion in wages and benefits.

Senator Warner will be heading to Hampton Roads for more events this afternoon.
