WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Sen. Mark R. Warner (D-VA) released the following statement today on the President’s executive actions to reduce gun violence:

“These steps to provide resources and enforce existing laws will help make our communities safer. Now, Congress must act to close loopholes, expand background checks, and keep guns out of the hands of criminals and the dangerously mentally ill.”
