The possibility that there may one day be value recognized in end-of-life counseling has been resurrected this summer by U.S. Senators Mark R. Warner and Johnny Isakson. Senate bill 1439 was introduced in August, and goes beyond the similar House bill 1173 introduced in March by Rep Earl Blumenauer.

More than 350 younger Virginians gathered in Norfolk over the weekend for Senator Warner’s Young Professionals Summit, the third in an annual series of events designed to create professional growth and networking opportunities.
Sen. Warner spent the day first at a breakfast with the Yorktown Chamber of Commerce and then with the shipbuilders at BAE in Norfolk, VA.
